Prize Competition for Primary and Secondary School Students in Kragujevac – “YOU CAN BUY A TITLE, BUT YOU CANNOT BUY KNOWLEDGE”

Local Anti-Corruption Forum of the City of Kragujevac, with the support of the City of Kragujevac, the USAID Government Accountability Initiative and Transparency Serbia, is organizing an art and literary competition on corruption and nepotism for primary and high school students in Kragujevac. In the competition, which runs from March 22 to April 10, students will have the opportunity to share their thoughts on these topics and say why corruption and nepotism in education are harmful to society as a whole, why it is important to follow the rules and respect principles of fair play and what is the role of school and education in all of this.

Public Call for Election of Members of the Local Anti-Corruption Forum in Vrnjačka Banja

The Municipality of Vrnjačka Banja announced a public call for the election of members of the Local Anti-Corruption Forum, an independent body which will be in charge of monitoring the implementation of the Local Anti-Corruption Plan (LAP). The Municipality invites all interested individuals, as well as representatives of citizens’ associations and other professional organizations, to apply for membership in this body by August 5, 2019 at the latest, following the instructions from the text of the Public Call which can be seen at http://vrnjackabanja.gov.rs/images/clanak/1437/dokumenta/javni-poziv.pdf.
